Magic Bliss

I figured I would use green because green is LIFE. Abundant in Nature, Green signifies growth,renewal,health and environment! And all of these things are very important this time of year and well, any time, I guess…

Let’s start with growth…. we all need to grow and expand our awareness. Growth happens all around us all the time. It’s in trees, flowers, the people that are physically growing in our lives. We see it in the children we surround ourselves with, they are especially ‘good’ at growing! My awareness is growing DAILY! I made it a point not too long ago to expand what I think, see, say, yearn for, etc… I want to grow just as the trees grow.They have a deep root system, they shed their old leaves and ‘go with in’ when the temps turn colder. They are still there standing strong, holding their space, still looking over us all, waiting for the time to blossom again! This is me, this is how I want to be from now on! I have always felt a very close connection to trees, but now that I understand them I want to be more like them! So I guess to sum it up I want to grow from within this winter season, and when it’s time for me “blossom” I’ll know when and”BAM”!! watch out, here I am alive with newness and new growth and ready to teach the world!

I decided to switch back to the black text,easier on my eyes…  I already spoke of renewal;growth and renewal all tie into one. Because when you grow in any way, you are renewing as well.

Health is a big one for everyone. I feel especially healthy right now! I love to say that! Anyone who knows me well enough knows that I was not “well” for a long(ish) time… I had a lot of health problems associated with my thyroid. It has been a long, strange, often scary road that was really,really bumpy and uncomfortable. I turned it around! With the help of a wonderful doctor a few years ago that is a Naturopath AND and an MD! How could I have been so lucky! She taught me so much,but she also told me that I already”knew” these things I just needed to listen to myself and do what my body needed for her to get better. It worked! I am off my thyroid pills that were prescribed to me by her and now am on just a version of them that just has a ton of herbs, lots’ of green foods(spirulina,kelp..)and iron and vitamin c in one pill and it seems to be working! I also became gluten-free and wheat-free and now allow myself to SOMETIMES eat only “good” Salmon. Never before would I have said this! I weigh more than I ever have in my whole life(this is the only hard part…) but I know I look, feel and act in the way I am supposed to. I am “Melissa Magic”!!!!  So listen to your body, your soul, and she/he will tell you what it wants to do for you to be the best ‘you’ that you can be!

Now for environment… your surroundings… where you live, work, play, act, and ‘be’ yourself everyday. Are you happy with the place you find yourself in everyday? You should be! Do you enjoy the place you find yourself sitting most often? Do you like your home? Your job? The people that surround you most often? Do you enjoy walking in the door at the end of a long day and become glad that you are “home”? If not, why not? I ask myself these things, and now I know that things can change. I KNOW change is inevitable, you can’t stop or slow down change, once I knew that I changed for the better! Allow for change to come into your life, it fosters growth inside you. It makes you think a little differently,and we all need to think differently sometimes! Change can be small,  it can be as simple as changing the route you take to work, walking instead of driving somewhere, or simply LOVING yourself more!!  Simple and easy, that’s the way it should be! Change in nature doesn’t happen overnight, so you don’t need to BLOSSOM overnight either…..
